I cannot find the wireless network Cabocom Wifi, what should I do?Verify if your laptop has a button that enables/disables your wireless and check if it is in the On position. Also, check if you can find any other wireless networks - if so, there are two possible situations, either you are in an area outside our coverage or your wireless card needs an additional software which we can quickly install for you in our office. |
When I connect to Cabocom Wifi I get the error "Limited or Unavailable Connectivity".Start by checking how many bars of signal you have. If the signal is strong enough, restart the computer and try again. If you cannot restart the computer and you have Windows XP click on the wifi icon on the bottom right handside with the mouse's right button and choose the option "Repair" and wait until the process is finished. If you have Windows Vista or Windows 7, the process is similar but with a different designation which is "Troubleshoot Problems". If you are using one of our routers disconnect it from the electricity, wait for 20 seconds and connect it again, wait another minute and try to connect to Cabocom Wifi again. The network says it is connected to Cabocom Wifi, but I cannot find the login page.Open your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) and type in the address "www.google.com". If the login page doesn't show up, shut down your computer, wait 5 minutes and try again. If the login page still doesn't show up, type in on the address bar "login.cabocom.cv". If the problem remains please contact us. |
When I type in my username and password and click login, it goes back to asking me the same again...This situation normally means that either your username or password are incorrect. It could also mean that your account's validity has expired or that your traffic has finished. |
I forgot my Password, what should I do?Just come to our office with your ID and account information and we will provide you with your registered password. On the logout page says that I have used up all my traffic, but I have not downloaded any movies or music...Nowadays websites such as Youtube and others of the same kind have movies of over 100Mbs and Skype calls with video also use up a lot of bandwidth, especially if they have a long duration. Also very frequently used are online radio and TV channels that, without you even realizing it, will use up all your traffic in no time at all. My internet connection is so slow I can hardly open any webpages...If you have any programmes of the type P2P (Emule, Torrent, Kazaa, Limewire) open, close them because they can use up all your upload / download bandwidth, even if you are not downloading anything. Another possibility can be a virus in your computer causing that situation. On the other hand you might be using the internet during "rush hour" (from 18.30 to 21.30), whichis a period everyone tends to be online and traffic can be a bit slower than normal. |
I have a router and maximum strength signal but the Internet is not working...When you have a router, the strength of signal indicated by your computer is the connection to the router, and not directly to our signal. When we install a router we place in the best possible place to enhance the connection, so the router should never be moved from that spot. If you have moved it replace it to its original location, if you have not then disconnect it from the electricity for about 20 seconds, connect it again and give it 1 minute to start over again. The router is on, all the lights are on an the "power" light is blinking.Your router is most probably damaged. You should bring it into our office to be repired or replaced if it's still within guaratee. Just remember that guarantee does not cover physical damage caused by the client or due to being misused. |

Can I have more than one computer connected to the same account?Yes, but you will need the indicated Router, since the Router receives the signal from the main antenna and sends it via cable. So the computers have to connect to the router via cable and the first one to connect will make the login which will be kept by the router, no longer being needed a second login when a second computer connects. This situation can only take place on a specif location, being the ideal solution for offices or homes with several computers. |
I have closed the logout page by mistake, what do I do now?Easy, just close your computer and within 10 minutes the system will have logged you out automatically. |
